Pattern: Sorrento Bucket Hat by Elbe Textiles

Fabric: Stonewashed Gingham Linen (Color: Willow) from Blackbird Fabrics

Mods: Used a 1/2 cm seam allowance for the part where the hat band and brim meet (rather than the suggested 1 cm SA). Also used fusible interfacing on all of the brim pieces, sandwiched some cotton batting between them, and quilted everything together. It gives the brim enough structure so it’s not all floppy, which is a win! I didn’t use any interfacing on the hat band or top so that part is nice and breathable.
